GETTING READY TO LEARN

What I understand from the first topic of study skills which is 'Getting Ready To Learn',there are several differences between school and college academics and also how do I step up my game.In college, there will be less time in class and more time studying outside the class (study all by ourselves). There is going to be fewer tests for us and we will not be reminded of due dates and exams. For college students you will going to have a lot of group assignments that you need to discuss outside the class.

There are few tips of 'How Do I Step Up for My Game?' that I jotted down from our first ever class of UED102.The first thing is as for uni students, you have to know how to manage your time wisely, isn't it?So it would be a lot easier for you if you make a weekly schedule and use planner.By using planner you can actually prevent yourself from wasting time and just follow everything that you have planned.Secondly, you should make a timetable so that you can know what subject do you want to study first and need to focus more on it.Thirdly, make sure to go to every class that you have because if you skip classes,it will not just affect your grades but you are also going to miss certain topics from that subject.Forthly, learn how to take good notes from textbooks and slideshows in your class so that you can read it all over again without feeling bored.Last but not least, ask for help if you don't understand anything. If you're the type of students that are kind of shy to ask question in the class, then you should ask your lecturer personally as soon as possible.
